A Casual Afternoon
Just my getup on a casual afternoon, going right from work to a wine date. As you probably know by now, I wear jeans 99.999% of the time, so today was no exception (These are courtesy of DL1961, one of their new InstaSculpt jeans that I’ll soon be reviewing for Denimology!). I know I blog about them a lot, and there’s a reason…they have earned my loyalty with their quality and great fits (I know, I know, most brands claim this, but seriously here, and I am not paid to say it!). Everything else are items that have proven their longevity over the last few years. The jacket I grabbed at Victoria’s Secret years ago (by their MODA brand). I normally HATE ruffles with a passion but this one just struck me as cute! I’m always afraid of having anything leather washed so I make sure to wear more coverage than a tanktop underneath, which I did with this flyaway top from Ella Moss (purchased from Revolve Clothing awhile ago). I like classics…bold, solid colors, and not a lot of patterns unless they are subtle and/or paired with solids to keep them balanced. And those Charlotte Russe wedges…who would have known I’d dig yellow shoes (much less from Charlotte Russe)? Lets call them mustard…they are a fun pop of color with any outfit. Jewelry wise I keep it simple as well, and I’ve been obsessed with Midwinter Co.‘s raw gemstone necklaces lately (Amethyst being my all-time favorite)!
It’s a nice cool spring day here in California, although we definitely could use more rain!!!
