The body positive movement is growing rapidly, and I’m so happy to see expanded sizes and better fitting jeans all across the board in the apparel industry! Even if you’re a petite size, I’m sure you feel like you’ve been put through the jeans shopping ringer more than once. I get it, shopping for jeans can be a nightmare, and it’s been awesome over the years to see so many brands working on improving that fit, because we all know not everyone is shaped like a runway model. It’s not always about size, but also fit, as people within all size ranges have varying shapes. Democracy offers jeans from sizes 0-24, ranging from jeggings to bootcut to straight, flare, crop and more. Perhaps their biggest claim to fame is their “Ab”solution line, founded on the idea of “curve equality” and made to seriously flatter. These jeans fuse comfort and functionality, with stretch denim, slimming panels, a hidden elastic waistband (bye bye waist gaps), mesh panels for tummy control, a signature curved back yoke and pockets placed in a way that creates a “booty lift” effect. I have not tried these jeans myself, but they each have several hundred to a few thousand impressively positive reviews, so I’m sure you can’t go wrong!
