Embroidered Denim Jackets for Spring

First off, this is a bit of a crazy week for me, since my yearly April destination, Lucidity Festival, is this weekend! I won’t be posting again until sometime next week (maybe later, to allow for a little decompression). It’s definitely a much-needed vacation, and a great time to enjoy welcoming in the Springtime! Also, I’ll be DJing this time around, so I am super excited!

Speaking of Spring (and festivals, sorta)…every season there’s new trends, and even though I’m not one to necessarily follow them, it’s still fun to see what pops up each year. Sometimes it’s something new, sometimes it’s something completely recycled, and sometimes it’s a modern rehash of something well-loved from the past. Embroidery brings back fun vibes from the carefree ’70s, when it was popular to take a favorite pair of denim and customize it to fit your own personality and tastes to sport at the next bout of musical debauchery. I’ve seen a lot of embroidered details spanning across the denim market since last year, both in the realm of jeans and jackets (even some non-denim pieces as well like leather and satin). The trend is still going super strong, and I’m seeing it more and more in the form of denim jackets! Spring is just around the corner and nothing screams the season as well as floral details and pretty lightweight pieces like outerwear. Here are some of my favorites that I’ve seen so far to bring in the warmer weather and greener hills!

Leave me a comment! I do my best to respond to all. But please, keep it classy :)
