First off, I hope everyone had a great holiday season, if that’s your thing! I’m pretty sure it was obvious I was taking a break to enjoy it…I actually ended up in Hawaii for a few days! It was a much needed break. While I was gone, one of my favorite companies I’ve worked with so far (due to the fact that they fit my main focus: short production, independently owned sustainable brands) added some of the coolest new leggings to their collections…namely the ones I wore in my last post! Something you may have only seen if you follow me on Instagram, was another piece sent to me by the brand, so as promised, I’m happy to present them both, right now! Here are two new crystal infused pieces from Seed of Creation, a family-run, ethical and sustainable brand out of Bali.
Seed of Creation is a brand that basically helped me kick start my festival style collection when I first went to Lucidity Festival in 2012. I have a few pieces from them from back then, and I’m so excited to be working with them now! Everything from this brand is handmade in Bali with love out of Micro Modal (or Lenzing Modal) fabrics, which comes from ecologically harvested birchwood trees. The brand states, “Beechwood from forests which apply prevailing forestry legislation and sustainable methods is used exclusively. Lenzing Modal® is naturally soft on the skin and exceptionally ecological. The fiber is produced, using Edelweiss technology. Edelweiss stands for a ‘symbiotic’ production process – pulp, the raw material, is produced at the same site as the Modal fiber itself.” In addition, many items from Seed of Creation are now printed with Selenite infused inks! That’s right, selenite as in the crystal which is ground up and added to the inks for a beautiful sparkly appeal.
This awesome brand sent me the Sri Yantra Infinity Bra and Yogini Leggings Bird Tribe, which both run true to size if you’re considering a purchase for yourself! They really are exceptionally soft and well-fitting—the quality and attention to detail is obvious! These prints are just beautiful. I’m definitely going to enjoy wearing these pieces at Lucidity and other like events this year!
Seed of Creation also runs a sister brand, Access Our Eyes, which creates bandanas and altar cloths with crystal infused inks as well as another line of women’s underwear. All designs are inspired by the art from Sha-Pibo tribes as well as various visionary artists including one of my favorites, Justin Totemical.
“Our mission is to spread consciousness and well being by creating artwork based on universal geometry and ancient symbols. By representing archetypes and a cross-cultured matrix of sacred symbols, we hope to add physicality to the ascension process of the human experience.” – Seed of Creation
