New Jeans for Your Unique Shape from American Eagle Outfitters

I have to say that American Eagle Outfitters is the only big brand that has stood the test of time and stuck with me since my college years. Among all of the others, they’ve been pretty darn successful due to their willingness to evolve with the market and improve not only in quality but in their appeal to a wider demographic. Within my premium denim collection, I have several jeans from them, and they are always the brand I recommend to those who ask me for advice on a pair of well-fitting, quality jeans that won’t break the bank! I’m always impressed by how well made and comfortable these jeans are. Some of the washes are gorgeous, as well as the detailing, and they fit so well over my curves. I’m more on the muscular side, as I work out a lot and lift weights, so I always suggest American Eagle jeans to those who ask about jeans that fit fuller bodies.

As I’m sure many of you know, American Eagle Outfitter’s sister brand Aerie has done wonderfully well in the size-inclusive market (and seem to have been giving Victoria’s Secret a run for their money in terms of basic intimate wear), and now these awesome jeans are following suit. American Eagle’s new denim collection is made in “True You Sizing”, so you can “embrace your unique body shape and size.” Not only do these jeans come in sizes 00-20 in Short, Regular and Long, and Extra Short in 00-14 and Extra Long in sizes 0-14, but just like Aerie, American Eagle has employed models of diverse sizes, shapes and ethnicities in their latest campaign. Is it any wonder they continue to stay afloat in this ever-competitive denim market?

Although $50 to $80 for a pair of jeans may still be a lot to many, it’s good to remember that in my opinion, these jeans come very close to premium and will last you through the time that you’d otherwise spend more than that to replace cheaper options. In addition, there are always great sales going on at American Eagle Outfitters, and I’ve scored many awesome jeans from them through clearance, for anywhere from $20 to $40! We all know jean shopping can be difficult if you don’t quite look like your typical model, so I urge anyone who has gone through the trouble to try these out…with 23 fits, 138 washes and 53 sizes available, I doubt you’ll regret it!
