Hello all! For those of you who celebrate, I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I’m not sure how many of you follow my Facebook page, but I had mentioned taking a bit of time off to enjoy family, friends, and a few adventures. I apologize for going MIA for anyone who didn’t get the message!
Anyway, I am so happy that California is FINALLY feeling like winter again…we are getting a lot more rain already than our supposed El Niño last year. When this happens, sometimes my attention shifts away from jeans (at least just a little) and more towards cute, unique, durable jackets and boots! During the holidays, I had my eyes on all the big sales from my favorite brands (of course), and One Teaspoon was one that had my attention. I always get excited when this brand releases new items, and this time it was their new and completely awesome outerwear designs. One thing that pops out to me with One Teaspoon is their use of luxurious faux fur, sherpa and suede. These pieces are totally made for rock stars, or rock stars at heart (as I often like to say)! After all, the brand’s founder and creative director Jamie Blakey states the best description of the label came from a fan years ago: “Fantastically rebellious, sex-infused old school rock & roll glamour.”
I’m particularly enamored by the New Hampshire Blazer above and below, as well as the super fluffy and cozy Rio Grande Le Crop Fur. The Viper Trench also illustrates the iconic style of One Teaspoon and would also make an awesome statement piece! In all, this collection provides a great variety of light and heavy jackets to fit the conditions in your neck of the woods. Happy new year, Lana! I’m glad you took the time off to be with family, that’s always important! I didn’t even know One Teaspoon did outerwear, I guess that’s what happens when all you think about is jeans, ha ha. I’m loving the shearling inspired one and the leopard!
