Roy Roger’s Ann Low Rise Skinny Jeans Review on Denimology

Roy Roger's Ann Low Rise Skinny Jeans Review on Denimology - Front View

It’s always fascinating to discover some of the smaller denim brands that may not be household names like True Religion or 7 For All Mankind, but pack a serious punch when it comes to quality! There are and have been a lot of these right here in the United States, but we obviously aren’t the single powerhouse in the world of denim. Italy seems to hold a special place in the heart of the fashion industry, and is the birthplace of the brand featured in this review! Roy Roger’s jeans have basically been a cult favorite in the small but colorful and decadent country, with roots starting all the way back in 1949. With summer here and medium-hued, low waisted skinny jeans populating the streets once again, today I’m bringing you a Roy Roger’s Ann Low Rise Skinny Stretch Jeans in Denim review!

Roy Roger's Ann Low Rise Skinny Jeans Review on Denimology - Back View

Of course in my mind I was envisioning an all-American brand named after the famous TV character Roy Rogers! But nope…As mentioned above, the company behind Roy Roger’s began producing jeans in 1949. Sevenbell Group was the first Italian blue jeans manufacturer. Over all this time, they have had a great partnership with Cone Mills, the first ever denim producer in the world, which has provided access to high quality, raw materials from the USA, Europe and Japan. Roy Roger’s jeans gained quite a cult following in the 1960s and 1970s, and to this day, each pair incorporates the same classic detailing and quality as it did back then, including being handmade in Italy. The brand says “There can be no future without an authentic history.” I’d have to agree! I was excited to try a pair when I first was introduced to and read about the brand, and I was sent the Ann Low Rise Skinny in my usual size of 26. I only have GREAT things to say about these!
