I can agree that denim may not always be your go-to material during the heat of the summer, unless we’re talking about shortie shorts. Those are definitely some of my favorite pieces that come out of hibernation to enjoy beach days, pool parties or just outdoor outings with friends. But not everyone resides in regions that are too scorching for denim, and some of us just love our favorite jeans too much to part with them at any time throughout the year. Looser fitting items are often a bit more comfortable, and so are jeans with rips or distressing which helps to let the breeze in and help you stay cooler. Whatever our denim preferences are when the weather warms, I am getting some awesome summer denim vibes from Shopbop!
As one of my favorite shopping destinations for premium, contemporary apparel, Shopbop is always on my radar. I totally love their capsule collections and lookbooks when I’m feeling a slight style rut or writers block when it comes to new blog posts. They just recently released a new collection featuring some awesome pieces of denim for summer, and I’m digging it. I’m not usually into lighter colored apparel (black is my choice shade), but paired with darker pieces helps tone it down a little for me. We all know skinny jeans will always dominate the market, but this collection is full of a huge variety of other styles, like cropped jeans, wide leg jeans, relaxed pieces, jackets, skirts and shorts. Distressing and well-worn vintage appeal helps give that easy breezy look as well. I have my eyes on the Boyish The Darcy Crop Jeans in They Made Me A Criminal, MOTHER The Hustler Ankle Chew Jeans in Drinking By The Pool and One Teaspoon Bonitas Shorts in Antique! I’m also intrigued by the TRAVE Colette Jeans in Wild Thing, as a brand I haven’t heard before (I’ll have to save them for a possible new post later). Whatever your summer plans, this collection has got you covered in the denim department!

This collection is bigger than what I could feature here, so shop a whole lot more where all this came from here!
