The Art of Slacker Wear by OnePiece

Lazy Sundays…definitely a day for slacking before we are tossed back into the grind the next morning. I’ll often find myself soaking in the slackiness in some cozy Gypsy05 awesomeness while streaming Netflix all day, but it appears that during the era of the Snuggie and the Forever Lazy, sometimes the simple sweatpant-sweatshirt combo isn’t enough, apparently—we’re all still kids inside, longing for our days of footie pajamas and onesies. Apparently we’re always looking for ways to increase our lazy slacker style. But come on, admit it, those were ridiculously comfy.

I’m not yet convinced I’d ever be caught dead in a late night infomercial garment (although the Snuggie DID become tempting after it somehow exited the realm of ridicule and entered “oh why not” party-gag-gift amusement status) but I haven’t completely abandoned the idea of wearing something like this…Target recently had some pretty hilarious and cute adult onesies that tempted me. However, apparently all this time I was waiting for the Norwegian brand OnePiece to come into my life to push the concept of adult onesies over from teetering back and forth on the the border of fashion purgatory back into “ok” status for me.

OnePiece was created in Oslo in 2007 with the idea of perfecting the “art of slacking.” The brand states “In our crusade against rules, norms and anything not perfectly comfortable, we are the original, the experts and the dedicated. We are not here to jump in and out of any trends or to stay ahead of any curve. We are here because we love what we do and we believe in what we represent. We’re the slackers, the stand outs and the fashion misfits. Someone always has to be the one that sits furthest back in the classroom – and in the fashion industry, we’re it.”

I dunno, I think it’s cute. I’d rock one. But yeah, in the house. Or a slumber party! Or maybe that’s pushing it…
