After being a fan of denim for so long, it is always easy to think I’ve seen it all. However, part of the allure of the denim industry (at least for me) is how creative it is and how many new styles come out right when you think there’s only so much one can do with a pair of jeans! Today I’m bringing you something very different indeed…a Triarchy Skinny Riding Jean in Dark Indigo review!

Triarchy is the blending of the creative visions of two brothers and a sister. Adam studied the art of denim in Italy, Ania entered the equestrian world as a competitive show jumper and was also a fashion model, and Mark was a custom motorcycle designer. The unique experience of all three siblings resulted in this great, very original ready-to-wear brand, that was born in Vancouver. Every pair is structured in Los Angeles and made out of premium Italian and Japanese denim. I received a pair of these Triarchy Skinny Riding Jean in Dark Indigo jeans in my usual size of 26, and I was immediately impressed with the obvious quality of the denim. It is thick and sturdy at 92% cotton, 6% EME (4-way stretch), but soft, in a gorgeous dark blue wash with blended undertones and overtones. There are large hand-dyed leather inserts on the inside of the thighs that make me want to take these on the next motorcycle adventure with my hubby! They also provide resistance from wear and tear and the dreaded crotch blowout that some denim lovers suffer from, while adding a slimming lines to the leg so whether you are a rider or a fashionista, these jeans were made for you. I actually rode horses for most of my childhood life, so these struck a chord with me in that regard!
