Purple and Red with True Religion
Purple and red…one of those color combinations I discovered on accident on day, and somehow fell for it. This is just me outside of work one day, enjoying a pair of True Religion jeans I grabbed off Hautelook one day, just because of how different they are! When we think True Religion, most people probably think of a more standard-looking jean, but with big “look-at me!” contrast stitching and horseshoes on each butt cheek so large that everyone the wearer passes is bound to notice…ok, I’m not making fun. I do have a pair of those and I dig them! Anyway, these were unlike the typical look from this brand and somehow fell into a shade of purple that I didn’t mind. I’m not a big fan of purple at all. I think purple, and I think…Barney. But, this attitude of mine has kind of relaxed a bit, and I decided I prefer more toned-down variants of the shade. Plus, I knew these would be fun to style with more neutral pieces in my closet, as I’ve done here. These are the True Religion Halle Fashion Over-Dye Skinny Pant in Viola (no longer available), which are soft and well-fitting as you’d expect from the brand. I like the fun, bold in-your-face look from True Religion, but I kind of admire how modest these are. I paired them with a Victoria’s Secret corduroy jacket I grabbed of eBay awhile ago while on a long hunt for one like it, and the top is the Clown Cropped Top from Oasap! I found it when I was trying to find more cropped tops to style with all the higher-waist jeans I was reviewing for Denimology. I actually wore it with for my review on Level 99’s Tanya jean in Crawford! These shoes…I don’t even know where they came from. My sister snagged them in London awhile back, and left them behind when she returned a few years ago. So I guess that makes them mine? 🙂
Shop my look here! I combined both couture, and not-so-expensive items to keep it varied.
